We produce farm products that are far beyond the corporate organic standards. Our farm has an open door policy that not only invites but encourages people to connect to their food source. We hope the people that eat our food will certify that what we produce is honest, just and up to their standards of excellence.
We have 80 acres of beautiful rolling land with a diversity of swamp, bush, pastures and gardens. Our goal is to leave our property in better condition then we got it. We are continuously planting trees, returning parts of the land back to nature and reducing our footprint as much as possible. We have built a straw bale house with as many local, sustainable, recycled products as possible. The farm is totally independent from the electrical grid, and produces its power from a combination of solar panels, and a draft horse powered generator. We farm as much with horses as possible, in order to reduce our fossil fuel consumption, with the goal of using no fossil fuels. Our horses are beautiful Norwegian Fjords, which have an amazing disposition and are easy to work with.
